As December quickly passes I am in an unfamiliar place where there is nothing that I can quickly bring to mind to get for my daughter for either her Christmas or her December birthday. There are lots of things that she would like, lots!! I have recently redecorated her room and the last thing I want is for it to be filled up with lots of stuff. Everything she has is so important to her but to my adult eyes it is tut. I want to buy quality things that will last but also recognise the importance of her having things she will love. Christmas is magical and I want to throw that magic fairy dust everywhere.
This year I thought I would share some ideas with you for Christmas gifts, some of these she has had in the year and they are things that I would recommend to a friend. Others I have asked Father Christmas to get for her. If you have any other ideas then please leave me a comment or send me a message. Ten is a difficult age and when you have Christmas Day and then your birthday within less than a week I feel that there is an extra pressure.
Anyway here are my top gifts;
Smart TV, now this is obviously up to each parent and a little controversial for some. There are plenty available, here is a link to one that I think is good.
Echo Dot, so it is all about the smart technology for us this year, I had thought about a CD player or radio but if I am honest they seem a little old fashioned. We have an Alexa downstairs so she will be able to connect to out amazon music and I think this is something that she will get a lot of use out of. It is great as an alarm clock too for when she no longer thinks that it is fun to wake up at 6:30 and come into my room incase it is imperative for me to know she is awake. I dream of that day.
Fairy / Unicorn garden, these have been available for several years. We were kindly gifted one. I had not prioritised it before now. It is such a lovely thing to have and I think that it is something that we will keep going back to as the weather warms up. You can also add to it and the little single fairy would make great stocking fillers
Without doubt our toy of the year has to be the fuzzikins camper van, again this was kindly gifted to us. I gave it to my daughter as we went away to Portugal for October half term and she hasn’t stopped playing with it since. We have three of the other Fuzzikins sets – this is by far the best value for money in my opinion and a great toy to take away. It is really interactive and great for their imaginations.
The tulipop range is amazing. The attention to detail and quality is great. Water bottles that don’t spill, pencil cases that I know are going to be filled with treasure. Look at the zip. It’s perfect and I know 👧🏻 Is going to absolutely love it. These have kindly been gifted to us by https://www.tulipop.com/en
