Ad M&S Food and Macmillan Coffee Morning

I have marked this post as an advert but I wanted to be clear that I have not been paid and have made a donation to charity. Sadly cancer has touched our lives as it has many families and it is really important to me to share this fundraising challenge. This year many charity events have not taken place and it is even more important than ever to donate if you can.

M&S Food and Macmillan Cancer Support are once again joining forces for World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. This year, with more of us getting more creative in the kitchen, they are launching a new campaign to encourage people to #CakeDonateNominate, to raise funds for people living with cancer.

M&S are asking the whole of the UK to show off their best baking creations on Instagram and take part in the #CakeDonateNominate challenge.

Step 1: Bake Cake (or whatever you fancy!)

Bake, make or create something delicious. M&S are helping out with some epic recipe inspiration, including lockdown favourite banana bread (we should all be able to bake this now!). We made a really easy Colin the caterpillar and used the limited-edition Macmillan Colin chocolates! Colin is a regular guest for our birthdays so when I saw these I was very excited! Choose from the M&S Walnut Whip Fridge Cake, M&S Banana Bread, Chris Baber’s Coffee Morning Apple Crumble Muffins, or what is sure to be a firm family favourite, the M&S Colin Cookie Dough Cupcakes which we made.

There is lots of recipe inspiration on the M&S Macmillan page here:

Step 2: Donate £5

Text MYBAKE to 70550 to donate £5 or donate on the Just Giving page here:

*Texts cost £5 plus standard network rate. Get bill payer’s permission. Age 18+. Queries and full T&C’s, call 0300 1000 200.

Step 3: Nominate

Post a picture on Instagram of your bake, yourself, your kids baking… whatever you want related to the challenge. Add the hashtag #CakeDonateNominate and don’t forget to @ the next 5 people you’d like to nominate!

I am looking forward to seeing your bakes.
